This is a chirp file for programming radios that support chirp programming.
To program your specific radio if its not a Baofeng K5 Plus radio follow the steps below:
1. Download the zip file below that contains the Baofeng K5 Plus .img chirp config file and extract the .img file to your desktop:

2. Download Chirp from here and install it on your PC: https://chirp.danplanet.com/projects/chirp/wiki/Home
3. Open two instances of Chirp.
4. Connect your radio to your computer with the USB programming cable (available on amazon here https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08H5DS4Y3)
5. Turn on your radio.
6. In Chirp go to Radio > Download from radio to download a copy of your radios configuration file.
7. In the second Chirp window, open the 'Baofeng K5 Plus Chirp Frequency Config' file. File > Open > select the 'Baofeng_K5-Plus_2024-08-05.img' file.
Note: the frequency list will appear on the 'Memory' tab (first tab) and the radio settings for the BAOFENG K5 PLUS will be on the 'Settings' tab (second tab).
Note: Do not save the settings on the 'Settings' tab to your radio if its not a 'Baofeng K5 Plus' radio. However you can open your radios setting tab and select the same options if the same options appear in your radio settings.
8. Hightlight all the text in the 'Baofeng K5 Plus Chirp Frequency Config' file 'Memory' tab and paste it into the Memory tab of the Chirp window that's connected to your radio.
9. Check for errors and make adjustments as necessary and then save the config to radio MAKE SURE YOU CLICK SAVE ON THE CHIRP WINDOW THAT HAS YOUR RADIOS CONFIG!
Then go through the channels on your radio :)
